• An occupational therapist supports people to engage in the everyday activities that shape their lives — things like play, self-care, learning, routines, work, and connection with others.

Occupational therapy looks at the whole person, considering strengths, challenges, and environments, and works alongside individuals and families to make everyday life feel more manageable, meaningful, and possible.

You or your child may benefit from occupational therapy if everyday activities feel harder than they should — whether that’s getting ready in the morning, managing big emotions, participating in play or learning, building independence, or navigating daily routines.

Sometimes it looks like frustration, overwhelm, avoidance, or fatigue. Sometimes it’s simply a feeling that things could be easier.

Occupational therapy offers support, strategies, and understanding — helping everyday life feel more manageable, connected, and confident.

  • The first session is about connection and understanding. We take time to talk about what’s working well, what feels challenging, and what matters most to you or your child. From there, we begin gently exploring goals and practical next steps together.

The first session may occur via telehealth while the OT gets to know you better and work out how best to work together.

  • Live Brightly Therapy Services is a mobile practice. Sessions take place in familiar environments such as the home or community, where everyday routines and meaningful moments naturally unfold.

Telehealth appointments are also available where appropriate, offering flexible access to support when in-person sessions are not possible.

  • A referral is not always required. You’re welcome to reach out directly to discuss your needs and how we might work together.

  • Sessions are charged at $193.99 per hour.

If you are accessing support through the NDIS (self-managed or plan-managed), sessions are aligned with the current NDIS pricing arrangements.

If you have questions about fees, reports, or additional services, please feel free to get in touch — we are happy to discuss this with you.

  • We work with children, families, and adults across different stages of life. Each person’s journey is unique, and support is shaped around individual strengths, priorities, and everyday experiences.

  • Do you work with mothers and babies?

Yes. Jodie offers support for mothers and babies, recognising that early relationships and everyday routines in the first months and years are deeply important.

Support may focus on connection, regulation, sensory experiences, feeding, play, sleep routines, or navigating the transition into motherhood. Sessions are calm, responsive, and shaped around what feels most important to you, including your own mental health.

The early season of parenting can feel both beautiful and overwhelming — therapy provides a supportive space to explore challenges, build confidence, and strengthen connection.

As a mother of two young boys, Jodie understands the overwhelm of sleep deprivation, the constant search for the “right” information, and the juggle of everyday life.

She also presents at mothers’ groups, offering support and evidence-informed information that nurtures infant development and maternal wellbeing.
